These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") are a contract between you and CampusCompass ("CampusCompass", "we", "us"), the operator of the CampusCompass campus guessing game and the seller of its paid plans. By creating an account, starting a game, or purchasing a plan you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please stop using the service.
CampusCompass is a browser-based geography game. You are dropped into a Street View panorama on a US college campus and score points by pinning where you think you are. You can play solo, create private multiplayer rooms, or join a room using a code. Free accounts include a limited number of games; paid plans remove that limit.
You must not misuse CampusCompass. In particular, you must not:
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use CampusCompass for personal entertainment within the plan you have selected. We retain ownership of the service, its software, location data, branding and all related intellectual property. Street View imagery and map data are provided by Google and remain subject to Google's terms.
We currently offer a Pro subscription billed monthly and a one-time 90-day pass. Current prices are shown on our pricing page and at checkout. The subscription renews automatically each month until you cancel; the 90-day pass is a single charge that grants unlimited play for 90 days and does not renew. You can cancel a subscription at any time and keep access until the end of the period you have already paid for.
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Payment, billing, tax, invoicing, cancellation and refund mechanics are governed by Paddle's Buyer Terms. Our own refund commitment is described in our Refund Policy.
We work to keep CampusCompass available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free performance. Features, campuses and locations may change, and third-party imagery may be unavailable at times. To the fullest extent permitted by law we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential or special damages, including lost profits, data or goodwill. Our total aggregate liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here excludes liability for fraud, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or anything else that cannot be excluded by law.
We may suspend or terminate your access if you materially breach these Terms, fail to pay, create security or fraud risk, or repeatedly violate our acceptable-use rules. You may stop using the service and delete your account at any time. When access ends, your game history and entitlement records may be deleted.
We may update these Terms; continued use after an update means you accept the revised version. You may not assign your rights without our consent; we may assign these Terms in connection with a merger, acquisition or sale of assets. Neither party is responsible for delays caused by events outside its reasonable control.
Questions about these Terms can be sent to CampusCompass support through the contact details on your Paddle receipt, or by replying to any email we send you about your account.
